As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting residents, guests, and vendors with professional service. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring values with integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Full Time / Swing ShiftPay Rate: $21.40 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed01:30 PM - 10:00 PMThur01:30 PM - 10:00 PMFri01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSat01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSun01:30 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.Monitor and control access at community entry points by verifying visitor authorization, documenting entries and exits, and communicating with residents or management as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
