As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch security services to hospital personnel, vendors, patients, and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills in de-escalation, incident reporting, and emergency response.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Screen and direct visitors, enforce hospital guidelines, and issue passesConduct patrols to detect safety hazards and unauthorized individualsMaintain accurate documentation and prepare incident reportsRespond to emergencies and calls for service with professionalismEscort personnel, control visitor access, and assist with patient transfersRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift and drag 50 poundsProficiency in MS Word and basic computer knowledgeValid government-issued IDSkills and Abilities:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and prioritize tasksBasic computer knowledge and technical skillsCompany Expectations:Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity in all interactionsPromote teamwork and adhere to security policies and proceduresMaintain confidentiality and uphold patient/client rightsJoin PalAmerican Security as a Healthcare Security Officer and make a difference in ensuring a safe environment for all.
