As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communication, and security-related support while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.49 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.Assist with directing visitors and responding to questions while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Meet hospital vaccination requirements.Be able to work in a hospital morgue.Be able to restrain individuals.Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Florida State Security Agency License No. B
