As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and facility needs. Join Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture put people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
