As a Healthcare Screener with Allied Universal, you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by screening individuals, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain attentive to security-related concerns, follow site procedures, and provide compassionate customer service in a dynamic hospital setting. Join an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.91 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.Screen patients, visitors, and vendors entering the facility in accordance with site procedures, including verifying identification, managing visitor access, and communicating entry requirements.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.Help maintain an orderly entry environment by directing individuals to appropriate hospital areas, answering general questions, and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, waiting areas, and surrounding perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting hazards or concerns.Minimum Requirements:Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.X-Ray screening experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
