Security OfficerThe Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Security Officer to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the hotel grounds to identify, report, and prevent or deescalate any unusual activity or hazardous discrepancies. Responsibilities include producing detailed incident reports, promoting a safe working environment, monitoring the fire life safety system, understanding the hotel's emergency preparedness procedures, managing key control, and issuing visitor badge credentials. Experience using video management systems and ability to communicate clearly are required. Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Security Officer or Loss Prevention Agent in an upscale or luxury environment is needed. Must obtain a CPR certification and a state issued Private Security Officer License within 30 days of hire date and achieve CLSO designation within 6 months of hire date. Knowledge of state laws, municipal ordinances, and basic computer proficiency are also required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
