Security OfficerJOB STATEMENT: To conduct a vigilant and consistent surveillance of all persons, property, and other aspects pertaining to the overall welfare of the Company by using various security systems when posted at Bronco Wine Company while maintaining excellent and efficient communication skills at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Maintain files and written documentation and distribute as needed including incident reports, safety violations, and any other pertinent company documentationMaintain traffic/access control of facility and ensure all persons entering the premises have legitimate business purposes and authorization; document on appropriate logsDocument violations of company policies governing employee safety, health, and behavior while on company propertyEnsure all property belonging to the company remains with the company unless there is a signed property removal authorization naming the items to be taken out of the winery authorized by a departmental head and approved by ownershipPass on oral and written instructions in a timely and efficient mannerMaintain and operate company CCTV/surveillance systemsMaintain and operate company badge access control system (C-Cure)Maintain professional appearanceOperate a motor vehicleEnforce company vehicle policyMaintenance checks on company vehiclesComplete on-site foot patrols and vehicle patrols for off-site propertiesAfter business hours, process all incoming callsAssist Executives on various tasksAdditional duties as assigned by Upper Security Management and Company OwnershipJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education/Experience:Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Must possess a current BSIS Guard CardMust possess a valid California driver's license without any restrictionsKnowledge, Ability, and Skills:Security department proceduresCompany policiesIIPPBasic First Aid, CPR and AEDCommunicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and writtenIdentify employees by sightInteract with people in a friendly yet professional mannerRespond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.Be trained in all security systems (CCURE, CCTV, and Guard1Plus)Must pass 30, 60, 90 day and 6 Month Introductory EvaluationsPhysical Requirements:Frequently sitting/walkingPerform tasks using standard computer equipmentWork Environment:Moderate noise levelIndoor/Outdoor climateWork with othersPersonal Protective Equipment Requirements:Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facilityEEO STATEMENT:Bronco Wine Company is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer.
