These responsibilities include continuous surveillance, reporting and documenting all incidents and remaining sensitive to the need for delivery of quality guest services and assistance to all persons visiting the hospital.Department: SecurityLocation: Englewood, NJStatus: Full-timeShift: EveningsHours: 3p - 11pJob Qualifications:A minimum of one (1) year security experience preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsThorough understanding of system-wide policies and proceduresAbility to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on system-wide policiesAbility to maintain accurate recordsAbility to react appropriately in emergency situationsKnowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aidKnowledge of portable fire extinguishers and their locationsKnowledge of the geography of the site to which assignedSkill in operating portable radio devicesAbility to walk or stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to walk and climb stairs rapidlyAbility to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditionsAbility to maneuver lifting patients in excess of 100 lbs.Ability to work in adverse weather conditions - extreme heat, cold, rain, wind and snowEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredLicense: A valid Driver's License requiredEnglewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $16.50/hour
