As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and supporting security-related procedures. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.22 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or other authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.Operate screening equipment and perform inspections as assigned, identifying prohibited or suspicious items and reporting concerns through established channels.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter, and document observations and incidents.Minimum Requirements:X-Ray screening experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
