As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a university location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 02:15 PM - 10:45 PM Thur 02:15 PM - 10:45 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking locations, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
