Visit Welcome to Leadville, Colorado to learn more.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location.Greet and log in all visitors and vendors at entrance gate Notify appropriate personnel or department of arrivalDirect visitors and vendors to destinationEnforce company policies and proceduresPerform frequent patrols of the property Walk, bicycles, or drives vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds of propertyObserve conditions of equipment, grounds and facilitiesPick up litter or debris as needed, or arranges clean-up with maintenance crewsReport damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance SupervisorConduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been notedAssist with and trained for emergency situations Collaborate with police officers in the prevention of crimeWork with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medical emergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at the assigned locationProvide basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, gives basic first aid) when neededPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsCurrent CPR and first aid certifications, as required by specific site locationSkilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situationsKnowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and proceduresKnowledgeable of the site topography and locations of emergency equipment and access pointsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingPreferred QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDPrevious Security experience in an industrial or mining environmentCompensation and BenefitsThe estimated pay range for this role is currently $16.50 - $21.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
