Job description
Security Officer - Level IIIWorks to ensure the safety and security of Brazosport ISD, programs, and functions as well as support the emergency preparedness of campuses, facilities, students, staff, and visitors. Provides armed security to campuses, following Texas Education Code § . If required, assists law enforcement agencies with investigations and provides support. Follows policies, directives, and standards of the District. Strenuous walking, standing, and climbing; specific hearing and visual requirements; ability to control sudden violent or extreme physical acts of others and exhibit rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously. May be subject to adverse and hazardous working conditions including violent and armed confrontations.
