Skills for Chicago
Is a Chicago-based nonprofit that removes barriers to employment by eliminating biases that disqualify candidates unnecessarily. Working with local and global companies, Skills brings opportunities to neighborhoods and municipalities throughout the Chicagoland area. To be eligible for Skills for Chicago services, candidates must reside in Illinois or Indiana, be authorized to work in the United States, and be either unemployed or underemployed.

Job Highlights
Focus on preventing loss and controlling shrink by monitoring the store for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities
Use video surveillance and other systems to identify potential concerns and apprehend individuals in line with company policy and local laws
Prioritize safety while following proper procedures for apprehension and reporting
Ensure a secure and safe environment for customers, associates, and business partners
Stay alert and adapt to best address security needs
Candidate Profile
Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time is required
Relevant soft skills include punctuality, reliability, and adaptability in high-stress situations
Must be at least 21 years old
