As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a residential apartment community, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarms, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting residents, guests, and property staff through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first culture.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 09:00 AM - 05:30 PMTue 09:00 AM - 05:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to residential incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of apartment community grounds, parking areas, common areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
