Bring your communication skills and commitment to integrity to a caring, team-oriented culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMonday 02:45 PM - 06:45 PMTuesday 02:45 PM - 06:45 PMWednesday 02:45 PM - 06:45 PMThursday 02:45 PM - 06:45 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned campus buildings, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders when needed.Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, campus representatives, and other Allied Universal personnel.Minimum Requirements:At least two years of security-related experience is required.Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
