As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a premier retail center, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position combines customer service, communication, and security-related response skills. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work every day.Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard ShiftPay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and retailers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail center location.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of shopping areas, common spaces, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points, observe site activity, and report suspicious behavior, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR certification is preferred.The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
