Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first and delivers through teamwork.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.48 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AMFri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter, as assigned.Monitor for unusual activity, report security-related concerns, and assist with access control, deliveries, and visitor directions in accordance with site procedures.Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.A Guard Card or license is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
