You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist staff and visitors, and communicate professionally while reporting concerns. A New York State Security Guard License is required.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:30 PM - 12:00 AMTue 03:30 PM - 12:00 AMWed 03:30 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
