As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every security-related interaction.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with facility procedures.Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.Access control and badge experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
