Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture put people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMonday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWednesday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThursday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a medical examiner office environment.Monitor access points, verify authorization as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help support controlled access to restricted areas.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, and report unusual conditions or hazards.Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and observation reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.Have at least one year of security-related experience.The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
