As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors, staff, and guests. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture puts people first and integrity guides every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.05 - $19.05 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 10:30 AM - 07:15 PMSat 10:30 AM - 07:15 PMSun 10:30 AM - 07:15 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, staff, artists, vendors, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, exhibition areas, public spaces, offices, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.Monitor visitor activity and support orderly entry, queuing, and movement through exhibition spaces while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.Minimum Requirements:A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
