Security Officer PositionJohnson Security Bureau, Inc. is seeking to add a dedicated Security Officer to our team.Position: Security OfficerLocation: New York City, NYWork Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Employment Opportunity AvailablePay Rate: $18.00/hourExperience: 2 years security experienceShifts Available:Morning – Times will varyAfternoon – Times will varyOvernight – Times will varyKey Responsibilities:Monitor premises through regular patrols to ensure safety and securityControl access to the facility by verifying identification and directing visitors if neededMaintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure orderRespond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and alarms, contacting emergency services when necessaryObserve and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breachesOperate and monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panelsProvide assistance, information, and directions to visitors and staff in a professional mannerComplete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and documentation as requiredCollaborate with team members and follow established security procedures and protocolsRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of security experience preferredValid New York State State Security Guard LicenseCPR and First Aid certificationHigh School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsBasic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and security systemsFlexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and overnight shiftsMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesAbility to pass an extensive background check and drug screeningBenefits:401K for a secure futureDirect Deposit (bi-weekly payroll)Healthcare coverage for you and your dependentsDental coverageVision coveragePaid Vacation to recharge and relaxSick TimeJoin our team and be part of a company with a rich heritage and decades of success.
