Job description
DutiesBriefs, advises, and makes recommendations to the supervisor and leadership on the status and needs of organization protection programs and situation-appropriate protection measures.Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs protection actions taken by organization operations to ensure conformance to regulations, directives, and policies.Coordinates and has oversight of responsibility for the organization Threat Awareness and Reporting program (TARP), a counterintelligence program that provides protection from foreign espionage.Responsible for executing organization Information, Personnel, and Industrial Security requirements.Makes assignments and work/shift-schedules, establishes priorities, and provides advice and assistance as required.Informs subordinates of pertinent policies and procedures and changes to technical and administrative guidelines.Plans, coordinates, and tracks training procedures supporting the organizations various Protection and Security Programs as required by law and other various program guidelines.
