As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Join Allied Universal, where our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $14.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor and control access at designated entry and exit points, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery driver or contractor access in accordance with site procedures.Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records, issuing and retrieving access credentials as directed.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
