As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns while helping to deter incidents. Join Allied Universal, where our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture puts people first through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and direct guests in accordance with residential community procedures.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.A Guard Card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
