Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals in accordance with established procedures.
Respond to access-related incidents, unauthorized entry attempts, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, access control, and/or shift observations.
Minimum Requirements:
Hold a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
