Guided by our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture, you will work with a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor entry and exit points at an industrial manufacturing location, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records.Screen and direct visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with established procedures, coordinating with site contacts when needed.Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized access.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
