Security Officer Part Time Access Operations

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $20.54 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records, issue access credentials as directed, and report access irregularities to site leadership.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
