As an Access Control Security Professional at a residential community, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify authorized visitors, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will monitor access points, communicate clearly with residents and guests, document security-related activity, and respond to concerns with integrity. Join Allied Universal's caring, team-focused culture and help create a positive experience for the community.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $16.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, manage guest access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with community procedures.Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support access-control operations.Communicate professionally with residents, guests, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while reporting security-related observations and incidents according to site procedures.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
