As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. You will support a welcoming, orderly environment while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and professionalism. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.73 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 07:00 PMSun 03:00 PM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with facility procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized activity, facility concerns, or policy violations.Observe and report conditions that may affect food production operations, including restricted-area access, trailer and delivery activity, and adherence to site-specific procedures.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
