You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative organization.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Mon 11:00 AM - 05:30 PM Sat 01:30 PM - 09:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor entry and exit points at a government maritime facility; check identification, access credentials, and/or visitor authorization in accordance with established procedures.Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations and incidents according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records while communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.Minimum Requirements:Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
