As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points.
Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, robbery, and other security-related concerns.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
