As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative team, where caring, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $15.25 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and control access to restricted production, storage, and administrative areas.Screen and document inbound and outbound deliveries, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures, helping to protect product, equipment, and facility operations.Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
