As an Unarmed Security Officer at a prestigious commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Join Allied Universal, where an agile, reliable, innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $24.05 - $25.05 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel in a professional manner while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
