As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related incident response. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PMFri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, issue visitor or contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.Screen inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery vehicles and personnel, in accordance with location procedures for a logistics and distribution environment.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
