As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government services location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring culture that puts people first. Join a reliable, innovative team that works together with integrity to help deter incidents and maintain orderly operations.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.06 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMonday 07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSaturday 05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSunday 05:00 AM - 01:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and protocols, escalating prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.Verify visitor authorization, provide directions, and maintain orderly entry and screening areas in a professional manner.Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Have at least one year of security-related experience.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
