As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use a computer or tablet as needed. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Join Allied Universal's caring, agile team, where integrity, reliability, and teamwork guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $14.32 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures while helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, storage, and administrative areas.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions, damaged access-control equipment, and potential security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
