As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and report security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide how we serve.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.54 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials and maintain required access records.Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures, including documenting trailer, package, and delivery information as required.Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.Have customer service experience, preferred.Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
