As an Access Control Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to access-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where people come first and integrity drives every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and access-related records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Minimum Requirements:CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
