As an Access Control Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a controlled environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work every day.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.36 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities, as appropriate.Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals in accordance with facility policies.Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document observations and actions taken.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access control areas, entry gates, parking areas, and facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Follow chemical and petrochemical facility protocols, including required personal protective equipment requirements, restricted-area procedures, and reporting expectations.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
