As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will engage with students, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 02:15 PM - 10:15 PMWed 02:15 PM - 10:15 PMThur 02:45 PM - 10:15 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned academic buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking locations, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, documenting patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.Assist with maintaining an orderly campus environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, or access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least two years of security-related experience.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
