As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.91 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management procedures in accordance with facility policies.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, observations, and patrols.Minimum Requirements:Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.Must be able to restrain individuals.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
