You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 07:30 AM - 01:30 PMWed 07:30 AM - 01:30 PMThur 07:30 AM - 01:30 PMSat 07:30 AM - 01:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a cultural institution.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of StateAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
