This driving post offers the opportunity to make an impact while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to acting with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $14.18 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
