As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. You will engage with employees and visitors through professional communication and customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.22 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility operations personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.Report security-related concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
