You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and alarm response, and provide outstanding customer service. Using communication skills and technology tools, you will contribute to a welcoming environment while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.75 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor access records in accordance with site-specific procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
