As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for customers, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally, and contribute to a caring, service-focused environment. Join Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation guide our work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.54 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations through established site procedures.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining awareness of activity during retail events, peak shopping periods, and deliveries.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.X-ray screening experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
