As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist with loss prevention activities, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with shoppers, employees, and visitors. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and caring team, where integrity, innovation, and teamwork guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.54 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe conditions within the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.Assist with maintaining an orderly shopping environment by providing directions, supporting store operations, and documenting security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control/badge experience is preferred.X-Ray screening experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
