As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $23.11 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
