As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Join Allied Universal, where an agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of bus facilities, transit areas, building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a New York State Security Guard License.Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
